Specific Duties
& Responsibilities

Outlines strategic roadmap for the cash management and trade businesses. Develops and implements programs & initiatives to build up volume and revenue for the bank’s corporate cash management and trade product offerings. Builds and manages the pipeline of client enrollments to expand the bank’s cash management and trade client base. Defines bank policy as far as cash management and trade products, and its applicable services are concerned. Supports frontline units to help in the attainment of their business objectives.

 

 

As Division Head :

 

·         Helps in strategizing and building up cash management and trade client pipeline

 

·         Secures senior management approval for new initiatives, solutions, or businesses

 

·         Provides strategic direction on product development road map and capabilities

 

·         Provides strategic direction on client management and onboarding including after sales servicing

 

·         Provides strategic directions to sales officers for client acquisition activities.

 

·         Defines & refines sales officers’ goals

 

·         Reviews policies, pricing and processes affecting cash management and trade products

 

·         Works with bank front-liner units in addressing peculiar client solution requirements.

 

·         Monitors CASA and other financial and non-financial objectives of the group

 

·         Plans for career path of people in Institutional Transaction Banking

 

·         Reports Institutional Transaction Banking’s achievements and business challenges to senior management

 

·         Assesses the impact of initiatives & activities to the bank’s business

 

·         Supervises sales officers ensure proper workload assignments are given to each

 

·         Annual preparation of OPEX and CAPEX requirements;

 

·         Address all audit and other risk related issues;

 

·         Meets with various bank units, Area heads and Region Heads, Corporate Banking Group, Commercial Banking Group, Business Banking Group and branches on matters affecting cash management and trade products, and its respective client

 

·         Performs other related functions that may be assigned from time to time

JOB DESCRIPTION

·         Manages the Client Service Delivery organisation that is responsible for:

1.       on boarding, maintenance and servicing activities for clients in Wholesale Banking

2.       ensuring that the Products/Client Coverage receive the appropriate level of operational support

·         Sets the conditions to ensure that client satisfaction targets are met, enhances commercial and operational quality of service and minimizes operational risks

·         Manages local operational activities efficiently, and provides content and leadership to manage implications of any business changes effectively

·         Contributes to formulating the strategy and long term objectives of the local Clients strategy and translates that to the Client Services Delivery area

·         Manages the CSD services by means of operational management (MIS) and work flow systems  (e.g. query tracking)

·         Ensures that all services, whether provided locally or from other bank’s locations, should be compliant from a regulatory perspective

·         Ensures that outsourced services are appropriately managed to ensure and evidence that we are ‘in control’. Actively engages with the service providers when there are service issues, in order to understand the local risks to the customers and the branch and to resolve

·         Ensuring all Bank, regional and local policies and minimum standards are followed as applicable

·         Is overall responsible for the results of the activities of the CSD organisation

·         Bears operational responsibility and is accountable towards local Regulators

·         Represents the bank towards the most important clients in annual operational reviews; acts as final escalation point

·         Aligns with the local Head of Coverage, Head of TS Sales, Head CX, Heads of Products to set agreed service levels and client satisfaction metrics for clients and products

·         Manages touch points with surrounding departments, such as GSO/CDU/CoE, the products, (all) Risk departments, internal and external auditors, IT, global OIB

·         Creates conditions in which employees can maximize their performance while being satisfied in being employed by the bank

·         Maintains the relationship with head office in relation to central – and project management
